This year, there were over 1,000 families on waiting lists for our schools, and over 10 local communities asking to build a new Hand in Hand school in their area. With this growing demand, we know that our impact can grow exponentially. We need your help to get there. Here’s how you can get involved.
Do you want to be a part of Israel’s largest movement bringing thousands of Jews and Arabs together each day? If you believe in strengthening the long-term work of educating Arab and Jewish children together, consider supporting our cause with a donation of any amount. Tax deductible contributions can be made from the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Israel, and by setting up a recurring monthly donation, you can commit to partnering with Hand in Hand in our long-term mission.

Celebrate your birthday, anniversary, bnei mitzvah, or other special occasion by supporting Jewish and Arab families in Israel who are working to create a more inclusive society. Ask for donations instead of gifts, and your celebration will change lives. You can invite your friends and family to mark your special day with a contribution to shared living in Israel, or show your appreciation for a family member by inviting contributions in their honor. Along the way, you will also raise awareness by sharing our story with your local community.

When most people in the world think about Israel, they think about conflict, violence, and despair. Violence can be so loud. And that’s why we need to be louder. Help spread the word online, so that more people can know about the thousands of Arabs and Jews in Israel who are building the alternative to conflict in Hand in Hand’s schools and communities. We have stories of local leaders, teachers, students, and families—stories of transformation, of challenge, and of a vision for what is possible for Israelis and Palestinians. You can join our movement by sharing these stories and amplifying the voices of these brave representatives.

Over the years, we have had many valuable volunteer experiences and we are looking to continue those experiences with people who are dedicated to education and equality in Israel and want to work with us towards achieving these goals.
Hand in Hand accepts interns every year to help in our office operations. In order to most effectively match your skills and our needs, please fill out our volunteer request form and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Interns are expected to commit for at least four months. Dates are flexible.
