Yakir describes the formula we’re using with the Hand in Hand University Student Community – a cohort of Jewish and Arab university students in Jerusalem who spend a year together learning, volunteering, and building friendships.

This formula is really for any group trying to stay connected during a war; how to balance very real feelings of anger and fear with a refusal to let it destroy a deeper commitment to building peace and equality.
