Mariam Kabaha

Mariam Kabaha is Israel’s National Commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission at the Ministry of Economy and Industry. As the National Commissioner of the EEOC, Commissioner Kabaha is responsible for mainstreaming equality and combating discrimination in the workplace. Commissioner Kabaha is the most senior Arab woman in the Israeli civil service. She also serves as a member of the: Public Council of the Anti-Racism Coordinating Governmental Unit at the Ministry of Justice; Israeli Employment Service Council; Advisory Committee of the economic plan for Arab society at the Aaron Institute; and Inter-Ministerial Monitoring Committee for the Advancement of the Employment of Israelis of Ethiopian descent. Commissioner Kabaha holds an LL.B. from the Haifa University and an M.A. in Public Policy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
