Eylon Penchas

Eylon is the Managing General Partner of Viola Partners, a private equity fund which is part of the Viola Group – Israel’s premier tech related private equity investment firm. Eylon has over eighteen years of private equity investment experience, including sixteen years as Managing Partner of the Viola Partners funds. Eylon serves as a board member of several of the fund’s portfolio companies, and previously held the position of Active Chairman of both private and publicly traded companies. Prior to joining the Viola Group, Eylon served as Director of Business Development for Bezeq – The Israeli Telecommunications Corporation, where he was responsible for the initiation of several multi-million dollar projects in the areas of international telecom services, satellite TV, data networking and electronic commerce. Before embarking on his business career, Eylon achieved the rank of Captain in a reconnaissance unit in the Israel Defense Forces. Eylon earned a BA in Economics and an MBA with specialization in Finance and Marketing from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In his free time, Eylon is a passionate sea-kayaker, and is active in a number of philanthropic initiatives.
