Danny Bar Giora

Danny Bar Giora is the Director of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership. He moved into the field of education from hi-tech and for several years has combined work as a hi-tech consultant with work as a mathematics and computer science teacher in high schools in Jerusalem. For a decade Danny served as principal of the Charles E. Smith Jerusalem High School for the Arts, where he received the Jerusalem Municipal Educational Institution Award. He later implemented the Ministry of Education’s “New Horizon” educational reform. Subsequently, he was appointed head of the Jerusalem Education Administration. He holds BA and MA degrees in mathematics and computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
