Bassel and Noa, Hand in Hand graduates and co-hosts of the Hand in Hand alumni content channel ‘MishMish,’ interview Jerusalem-based hip hop artist, Princess Lailah. Princess Lailah is a Jerusalem native of Persian heritage, both of which play a central role in her music. Her unique sound incorporates elements of rap, hip hop, contemporary Middle-Eastern and classic Persian beats. She sings in Persian, Hebrew, and Arabic, and explores her roots, culture, and identity through her music. In the latest episode of ‘MishMish,’ she discusses how her music is received in Iran, who her biggest influences are, and how she connects with the Persian diaspora through her art.
