Hand in Hand's Third Annual Community Activist Retreat

On February 16th-17th, 2017, Hand in Hand held it’s third annual community activist retreat in Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom.

Arab and Jewish active community members gathered from the six Hand in Hand communities all over the country to meet and learn from each other, and dive into issues of equality and inequality between Arabs and Jews – having hard conversations and strengthening the country-wide connections.

Mohamad Marzouk, our Community Director, opened the first session: “The work that you – the community activists around the country – do every day is at the forefront of creating the societal change we are all working for.”
